What happens next

1. I normally reply within one working day.
2. If the matter calls for confidentiality, we continue by certified email or on a channel we agree.
3. If there is scope for a technical examination, I send a written quotation stating scope, activities, timing and fees. If there is not, I say so and that is the end of it.

What does a party-appointed expert cost?

It depends on the volume of data to be examined and the kind of examination required. The first assessment — establishing whether a technical route exists at all, what data is needed and how long it takes — is not charged. A written quotation follows once the scope is defined, stating activities, timing and fees.

How quickly do you reply?

Normally within one working day. If a procedural deadline is close, say so in the first message: it changes the order in which I look at enquiries.

Do you only work in Rome?

I am based in Rome and accept instructions throughout Italy. Much of the work is done on the data rather than on site; where physical presence is needed — an acquisition, the expert operations, a hearing — I travel.

How is confidential information handled?

The website form is an ordinary channel and should not be used for the substance of the matter: it exists to establish contact. As soon as the question becomes concrete we move to certified email or another agreed channel.

Can you help if the court expert has already filed a report?

Yes. Critical observations on the court expert’s report remain available, although one is then working on material already shaped by someone else. It is a less favourable position than having a party expert present from the operations onwards.

Not essential, but three pieces of information make the first reply far more useful: what stage the matter is at (before proceedings, proceedings pending, after an expert report has been filed), which media or services the data sits on, and whether there is a procedural deadline approaching.
